You've got your tongue firmly in your cheek haven't you...If I was offered a job in Scotland ...I'd jump at it...a good rule in life is to always say yes to a life enhancing opportunity...or a new experience...take a leap into the unknown...go on you know you want to...and there's always thermal underwear!

Hey Tam, I think you sound quite excited at the prospect and you've obviously thought about it! I think you will fit in well, as long as you grow a beard and wear a kilt as that's what all Scottish folk are like (even the women)! Scotland is a fantastic place, and Inverness is beautiful, you'll love it here so much I bet you'll never leave!

Thats an interesting question, I am an Irishman (Northern) and have taken on a few accounts in Scotland and was wondering if an Irishman would be more popular than an Englishman?

Cant for the life of me work out why you asked this question, I needed to have a glance through your profile before I blasted you off the face of the earth, having you down as a typical English bigot , I read so many things of interest (inc the Campbell bit) that I have restrained myself from doing that!
Pity really I enjoy a good blast at the English.

Inverness is a beautiful place and the people are friendly. There are lots of tourists and many English people there already (they know a good thing). It's a great place to live apart from the fact that it is so far away from everywhere else. (unless you count Nairn)

Introduce yourself by your yahoo name and you'll be fine Tam, but don't expect them to welcome you if you think as per your question. Only thing to remember is that its a long way from anywhere else!
