My daughter has fine hair and the winter weather makes it hard to control with the static. Is there anything that can be done?

Use a good conditioner everytime you wash your hair.
It also helps if you have a silk scarf or something and just pul that over the hair, silk will help stop the static electricity.

Good Luck :-)

Sounds crazy but use a dryer sheet, or spray a brush with an aersol humidity resistant hairspray and then comb threw her hair (when dry of course) Sebastian Shaper and Shaper Plus work nice! Also try TIGI After Party... Its a smoothing cream to help tame those flyaways!

You can try a fizz control serum. They work well. I use Pantene Restoratives Frizz Control. You put it on damp hair & style as usual. I have noticed a lot less frizzies and static in my hair since using this product.

hi, the main cause of static is using a plastic comb or brush, try a childrens shampoo and a mild conditioner and then a bristle brush, also a mist of shine spray or a drop of wax or serum should stop it. also if you run your palms over it, this will earth the static

Spray some hairspray right on your brush (hopefully its an anti-static brush) then run it through your hair for a quick fix.

I read somewhere to rub (like a brushing motion) the hair with a dryer sheet.. I tried it before, and it worked pretty well. It's easy and you can take an extra in your pocket if you're going somewhere. Hope this helps :)

well try blow drying it and there are tons of products to use. but if you dont want to spend any money you use like a needle point of lotion (especially with fine hair) and rub it through. It doesent make it greasy AT ALL if you use a little bit.

You can spray hair spray in the brush that you are using before you brush her hair. Do this more than once though.
