What I usually do is plan a nice evening [home made dinner, wine, movie of his choice, cologne] or a overnight getaway for him. I also throw in some stuff that he likes that makes him laugh. Such as funny boxers, candy he loves. I believe planning a evening for two or giving him a day of fun is thoughtful I know it works with my husband. Good luck!!!!
