No, you shouldn't wash your hair every day as you will be taking away the natural oils your hair needs to remain healthy, I use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo with camomile, which makes the hair lighter and it works a treat, I don't use conditioner at all, i've always found it to be abit of a con but some hair types do need it, my hairdresser noted how soft and silky my hair was and was shocked to learn I don't use a conditioner, my hair is very long and as the shampoo is mild (mild enough for a wee babies head, hee hee) I have to use it every two days but I don't have to use it every day and it dosn't have some of the unnessary chemicals/ingrediants in it that you find in some of the more popular branded shampoos, such as Herbal essences, which tends to leave a nasty invisable residue trace in the scalp thats not good for you, as long as your shampoo/conditioner works keep doing what you're doing but if you can try to avoid washing it everyday!

It really does depend on your hair, and if it is dry avoid a 2 in one shampoo, Make sure you use a good brand, I find L'Oreal is the best and I have tried a few, L'Oreal also do a good leave in which I often use. Of course dont blow dry unless you have to, that will always dry it out real bad.

Your hair has its own natural oils to protect it, if you are gonna perm or colour try not to wash your hair for about 2 days before, the naturals will give it excellent protection.

If you can ever leave your hair without washing for a day, it certainly wont do it any harm.

Actually, if your hair tends to be dry, you shouldn't wash it daily. Because the shampoo will dry it out even more. Yes, you can add conditioner, but if you let your body's natural oils do it, it will be better in the long run. Of course, if your hair tends to be oily, you probably can't do this, because your hair will get overly oily, and lay limp and flat (and look gross!). The shampoo and conditioner you use makes a difference too. Make sure you're using something formulated for dry hair, with deeper conditioning. Another trick with conditioner is to slather it on your hair in the shower--DON'T rinse it off. Get out of the shower and wrap your hair in a towel, and leave it for up to 30 minutes. Then rinse it out. GREAT deep conditioning treatment!

No! Shampooing everyday takes al the natural oils out of your hair and will leave your hair dry. Wash it every other day or less often but not every day - thats a no go area.
Also if you have dry hair you ought to use a shampoo for dry hair, no over the counter shampoos though cos they are known to be rubbish - get some professional advice on the best shampoo for dry hair :)

It's ok to condition your hair everyday, without the use of shampoo. Shampoo can be very stripping and damaging to the hair. Shampoo 2 times a week at the max. If you are exersizing and get a sweaty scalp, rinse your scalp, but use conditioner instead of shampoo and rinse well. Since conditioner will weigh your hair down if not completely rinsed well, take the extra time to make sure it's all out.

No this isn't any longer mandatory and that i think of only the makers of shampoo might motivate it. you ought to do it as in lots of situations as your hair form calls for. usual for vivid, the different or each and every 2 or 3 days for dry. My hair dries out very badly if I shampoo it daily. If i want a tub on an afternoon while i'm no longer shampooing I the two positioned my hair up out of the water or only difficulty it. some shampoos and conditioners look to circulate away the hair feeling purifier for longer, with others (greater cost-effective ones like sunsilk) i'm getting lank greasy looking hair after a million day. i admire the Aussie Mega products and Nutrogena and plush as quickly as I could have the money for them.

I have fine hair and have to shampoo it every day but I know people who have thick hair and sometimes only wash it twice a week.

My hair needs washing and conditioning on a daily basis to look good and I use a styling product when I want a nice style when I'm going out but nothing too heavy as it looks greasy then and defeats the object.

Do not use shampoo on your hair everyday. It strips the moisture from your hair. That said, try to use a shampoo and conditioner once to twice a week. Use shampoos and conditioners that have natural ingredients.

You don't have to wash your hair every day. In fact, most people shouldn't. You should, however, rinse your hair every day.

Another thing you can do is put conditioner on the ends of your hair & only wash the scalp. That works great for oily hair. Since your hair is dry, you may want to rinse and condition the ends. You can then fully wash every other day or so.

Not it is not necessary.

The scalp produces natural oil which nourish the air, washing your hair every day would reduce that.

Washing hair every 3 or 4 days is good enough, at least for me, and my hair look very nice.

I do not use conditioner as I have fine hair and it make them heavier. So just shampoo (I use Aussie Miracle) and that's it.
