Jesus was Jewish and celebrating the Passover with his twelve Apostles, which is what the painting is depicting. Judas is in the portrait that was painted by DaVinci. I never seen a portrait with Judas gone unless it was cut off by a bad picture taker.
The Breaking of the Bread, which the Apostles celebrated with each other after Jesus's Ascension into Heaven, was done so because Jesus said 'do this in remembrance of Me'. That is part of Christianity.

Judas WAS at the last supper. He did not depart the fellowship until after Jesus's crucifixion.

Judas was at the last supper. It was there when Jesus said somebody among the twelve would deceive him(referring to Judas).

Never saw a Last Supper that didn't include Judas. Mine does, and I'm Catholic. Every one I've seen in Catholic stores has him in it.

Besides the mistake in Judas not being there (he was), it was the Jewish Passover, Christian "holidays" had not yet come into being.
