The software I see online isn't cheap. I can't afford $50 but yet I need something to get rid of virus & trojan on my computer.

There are some free antivirus softwares that are as good as the paid ones.

You can get free anti- virus protection from www.download.com
Look for AVG Free version download it then update it. You will also be well advised to download Spybot Search and Destroy it is in the spywear protection section, and AD-AwareSE Personal edition in the Anti Ad-ware section, of the same site. download each and then update them. run all three at least twice a week. These three free programs will help a lot on an unprotected computer. I have used them for years. And no problems !:)

here is a list of free good ones. one word of caution, even the most expensive antivirus on the planet does not have the facility to remove all trojans, worms etc automatically therefore each antivirus manufacturer has posted manual removal instructions on their website which you have to download and follow. The software can at the best detect the virus and tell you its name, after that you need to google its name and get the manual removal instructions

you will be better protected if you purchase a anti-virus program
avast, avg etc.. that get pushed on here alot are lacking in protection and have problems
best to be protected than sorry
norton,mcafee, or kaspersky are good choices

If none of those work try this 30 day trail,It will remove any bad you have on your system.Then get AVG,It is free and works great

Try a free trial of Norton, or etrust EZ Antivirus on their website. They usually last for 6 months or so, and you can switch to another trial at another site when it expires.

use this my mentor turned me on too it its free and removed virus's norton couldnt remove its avg just google it and you should find it
