Because of lack of proper sewage systems and sanitation in Mexico. Mexican produce is much more likely to be infected by ecoli bacteria causing severe illness and sometimes death.

Avocados from Mexico are better tasting becaus Mexico is all about organic and chemicals! Mexico is home of Guacmole so Thats another good reason why Mexico is best for the Avocado!

Avocados from Mexico are more likely to be fresher than the ones hear because they do not use such hard pesticides as they do here in the U. S. I've always had better tasting avocados from Mexico.
