This is because we have a national medications and health system (medicare) and all doctors in Australia are licenced under the AMA (Australian medical association) the only thing you may run into is if the drug is on the restricted supply list (such as really strong meds such as Oxycontin) or if the drug is not available in a certain state due to state law.
