According to our rabbis who have walked before us the covenant of circumcision was given to Abraham and his future generations to follow in the path of God. In return God promised them the land of Canaan and His protection and care. The command for circumcision (Brit) was then given as a symbol of this covenant. Every newly born Jewish boy should be circumcised at the age of eight days.
God also made covenant with Abraham that his children would be as numerous as the stars. That they would be minority in every land that they reside in except for in the land that was promised to him.
As for Mosaic Covenant that was based more on written laws, which we call the Torah. Through the Torah we find the 613 commandments that we had to follow now there are less because we have no Temple that stands today. God then says that if you follow my writ en law then I will bless the seed of Abraham. "And I will bring you to the land which your fathers have occupied and you shall occupy it and I will make you more numerous then your fathers...If you follow my laws).
I hope that this answers your question.

The similarities are all about God's faithfulness. The Mosaic Covenant is the ten Commandments, letting us recognize what pleases God. The Abrahamic Covenant is about God's excitement in giving His chosen human beings numbers, reknown, and an area of beginning.

God made a covenant with Abraham and his family, so it is a family covenant. Father/Mother/Children. Moses is about the Law, and the Ten Commandments, nothing else, namely, all the minor laws of the Levite Preists of King David.

Abrahamic is a lot like today.Faith based.
Mosaic is Law based.Do this ,don't do that.
Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
