Yes I have.....we agreed we were not right for each other relationship wise but the sex was GREAT so we still hooked up striclty for that with no commitments.
We used to get together anywhere from 1 - 3 times a week.
At the time I was 24

My friends are my friends...and without the 'benefits' I have been in situations where I have had to end relationships because I didn't feel the same way. I don't want to add to the hurt of my friends and I think things can get complicated and sticky so I am not a fan of this one. I think you can get into enough trouble without it.
I like being crazy about someone and wanting to rip their clothes off...I think it makes for the best sex! I think things can be pretty lukewarm when you are 'friends with benefits'.
I prefer being in a relationship. If I am in need of 'just a fun time', it has always made more sense to me to date casually and take it from there.

Yes i have sadly.
In my town its bad news.
I am 17 and have had many of them They are good at the time just not if you do 3 at the same time like i did. I was vulnerable, just getting out of a relationship. BUt now that i have a great relationship me and those 3 guys are all great, even best friends now.
good luck.

Friend with benefits are only for people that want it. And are stupid.
Either get a relationship, stay with it, or don't. Don't half @ss it. Who gets the benefit in the situation? in the end, the guy.
Pathetic.

I'm in my forties and I would not be interested in that type of relationship. It's probably pretty common though. I've been single for awhile, enjoy being single, and was insulted when a guy suggested this type of relationship. It's for those who want to keep their options open.

It's quite common because lots of (especially young) girls want a boyfriend so bad that they'll hook up with a guy they like and give him whatever he wants to keep "him satisfied". Most of the girls don't even like the sex and usually end up breaking up with the guy and calling him a cheater when they learn that he may have a host of other FwBs.

Sure. I've done this twice. Once in college and once not long ago. As long as both people are mature about it these relationships are fine. By the way, I'm 27.
