My ***** was in season for what was like forever she came out of season at the end of November but had what we thought was a phantom pregnancy (took her to vet etc). Though i'm starting to wonder because she still has big boobies though there is no milk. It was her 1st season and i have a JRT he never got to her while I was at home but my mum was a bit slack with not keeping them apart. Probably being paranoid or something.

Hi I've just worked out the dates and if she was pregnant she would of either had them by now or at least welping. She does occasionally hide her food but the other half tends to over feed her so she saves it for later. Also she isn't really that fat she has got a bit chubby because she has had to be on crate rest following an operation on her leg. It's just these boobies bless her she may still want to be feeding out 4month old bully! We got him while she was in season hence the phantom pregnancy!

9 weeks a ***** is usualy pregnant, they can go a week either way though, If it is the english bull in the pic, it could very well be a phantom, I have 3 myself and 2 of them have had phantoms and the other is not old enough yet but i am expecting it with her too, They are lovely dogs but what i do with mine when they have one is give them a teddy bear to "mother" it helped with mine. I hope everything goes well if she is.

a dog (female) is pregnant for 63 days. This can be confirmed at any time during the pregnancy from about 23 days by your vet using an ultrasound machine which will show the puppies as small blobs in the early stages due there entire form close to whelping.
Phantom pregnancies are very common and can occur at any time after the season. Although milk production is one of the cardinal signs the dog can also show signs of nesting or her maternal instinct may come out, ie carrying of toys and other items.
A female dog is most receptive to becoming pregnant 10 days into her season although this can be as early a 6 days or as late as 14-15 days!!
If you have any doubt whether she is pregnant an ultrasound scan will tell you otherwise a phantom (false) pregnancy can be treated with hormone therapy

You should count about 60 days after you think she was no longer interested. 60 days is just an average. It could be 58 days and it could be 64 days. If she is within a couple weeks of your estimated date you should be able to see the puppies moving around especially when she is sleeping. If it gets to your date and you still haven't seen movement, she wouldn't get milk until just a few days before delivery, you need to take her to the vet. If she starts acting really sick - not just tired - sick take her to the vet. We had a pet dog we thought was breed and her time came and passed and we took her to the vet and her white blood count was extremely high and with her age she had to be put down. So just be sure and keep up with the days and take her to the vet if it goes past the extended time. Good Luck!

63-65 days you shouldnt let them go much further than that...approximately 9wks..if you ar still unsure if she is expecting your vet can always do an ultrasound scan and verify if she is expecting and to a good degree how many pupps too...

61 to sixty 5 days after the eggs have been fertilized. possibly the eggs have been fertilized on the day of the 1st breeding, yet perhaps it did no longer ensue until a pair days after the final breeding. Mark your calendar.
