Absolutely agree.

"“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."

I do not agree with you. There are many people who do not worship a god and have wonderful lives. They have what they need and want. I can't see how you can add anything to that. Believing in god makes some people happy. Good for them. Whatever it takes. Some do not believe in god but they find their happiness and fullfilment in other aspects of their lives. They do not need to believe in a diety to make their lives complete.

What it all boils down to is what people are comfortable in believing. If a person looks at the god story and decides that it does not make sense, then making themselves believe in it will not make them happy.

Absolutely agree! What is our purpose without Him?! What a sad way to go through life not knowing or accepting that there is a greater purpose for your existence!

What a narrow minded view you have.

I am an atheist. I have my intellectual integrity.
I am a moral human being. I have my morals.
I am a darned good programmer. I have my talents.
I am a darned fine teacher. I have my passions.
I am a darned hard worker. I have my uses.
I am a darned good lover. I have my emotions.

I am quick to forget insult. I have my strength.
I am quick to heal wounds. I have my compassion.
I am quick to support others. I have my duty.

I do not hate. I have my courage.
I do not lie. I have my truth.

I am not ridiculed. I have my fortitude.
I am not alone. I have my fidelity.

Most importantly,

I am not defined. I have myself.

Hi Josie, I fully agree with you, without God life is meaningless and empty and not worth the daily struggle or pain,God fufills all our hopes and aspirations and He alone is our ultimate goal in life.

funny, god is not in my life yet I don't seem to lack for anything.

I have good friends, a smoothly-running career, I have a lot of fun and maybe someday I will start a (probably godless) family.

Funny, I don't have your God in my life and I am quite happy. Not everyone needs religion and not everyone needs your religion in their lives.
