How to change the default boot configuration of my pc? from Linux to winxp?

when the pc boots the OS it give me option but if i can't give response upto 8 sec then it automatically boots Linux How does one change the boot priority? from linux to win xp

boot linux. then in the start menu, go to the bootloader (grub or something). there you have the option to select the default operating system.
