Alright, so I'm a freshman in college and so is the guy I'm crushing on...we met during our first semester b/c we had class together and became close friends now this semester we don't get to see each other as often, but we still run into each other. Anyways, I told this guy that I like him (during our first semester @ school)...and well he told me he wasnt looking for a gf @ that time...but now it seems like he's going out of his way to hang out with me and my friends during out lunch time. He's a really sweet guy and I hope he does like me back, but I don't know how to read the signs he's giving me...my friends say they know he likes me just by the way he acts...so my question is...do u think I should give him something (like a card) on Valentine's Day...just so he knows im still interested or not? If you guys think ya get him something...what should it be, or is a card good enough?

Aww that sounds so cute. If you notcie he is coming out of his way to be where you are at the time, he is showing interest. So you should get him just a card. It wil show him that maybe something could spark up if he feels the same way you think he feels.

good luck!!

Sounds like he likes the attention that you give him, and he likes being around people that he knows like him (that way), so that when his friends ask who you are, he can tell them that you like him, and that makes him look better, and validates him as a Man (whatever). Chances are, he likes the attention from you. Give him a card if you want, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are more girls out there that he hangs out with, etc.

Remember too that Freshman College guys are emotionally where you were at 15-16. Guys mature slower than girls do. So don't expect him to be Capitain Maturity just because he's in college. Some boys grow up to be Men, but deep down inside they're all boys.

No. I don't think you should give him a card b/c he has already verbalized that he doesn't want a girlfriend. It sounds like he'd like for you to settle being a 'friend w/benefit' type of arrangement. Let him shower you with tokens of affection at valentines instead. If he doesn't, you'll be glad you didn't waste your time selecting a card. No reason to flatter the stud.

Getting him a card won't hurt anything but don't expect a B/F your freshman year of college. A LOT AND I MEAN A LOT!!! of guys don't want girlfriends at least their first couple years in college. But they always want to keep the girls that like them close so he might kinda be holding on to you for when he is ready to start dating but that might not be for a couple years.

Not at all. He is to show you his interest and you should be waiting on your gift from him. Don't run with something you don't have a good hold on. Just let it ride. If he do that for you then let your feelings show until then take your time.

yeah why not? well give him a card..that should be quite an obvious hint though..and if he feels the same way and is prepared to have a relationship with you..he'll respond and ask you out!

good luck!
