You rocking the "christian" boat today Jibba? Imagine if people of the first century looked into the future, and saw Atheists in heaven, welcoming in the poor confused "christians"? Atheists are ones that have not bent the knee to a material church, as Jesus didn't, he went against the established religion of the day, which was Judaism. Would they have called Jesus an Atheist if the word was around then? Why did the saints say, the whole earth is laying in darkness? What was "the awful horror" in Daniel about? You presume that I wish to go to Heaven.
If it turns out that the Christians or Muslims are right, I'd rather burn in hell because the god they worship is an immoral monster according to their texts. The Jewish take on him is harsh but at least it's not outright sadistic (I've studied Kabbalah in depth and can understand that the mass slaughter of people can actually serve the greater good considering the plan of the universe it teaches).
My morals mean too much to me to give them up and go to such a deity's heaven.

Christians believe there will be an apocalypse before the final judgement, so I'm pretty sure any intelligent atheists will go, "Hmmm, maybe I'll give this religion thing a chance now..."
