I think theres a good chance that Ricardo Arona comes over at some point. His style would fit well with the UFC and it would be another legitimate fight for Liddell. While I would like to see Shogun come to the UFC I get the feeling he will stay in Pride for a while, not to mention there are no kicks to grounded opponents in the UFC. Thats basically what Chute box is famous for.

Another possibility is one of the lightweights comin over maybe someone like Joachim Hansen or if the UFC gets really serious Gilbert Melendez. I just don't see the UFC being able to wrestle away any of the top Japanese fighters from Pride.

If the UFC is smart, they will go after Mauricio Rua. Rua is considered the #2 LHW in the world behind Chuck Liddell. However, he's the #2 LHW over in Pride, as his team mate Wanderlai Silva is the current champion and Pride poster boy. They will never willingly fight, as they both train out of Chute Boxe. Consequently, Shogun Rua will never get the title shot that he deserves. If the Iceman beats Rampage, which I think he will, the UFC will have to come up with another challenge for Chuck. This will be solved by convincing CroCop to drop to 205 or to go out and pick up someone like Rua or possibly Arona from Pride.

The same guy who started the rumors about Cro Cop joining the UFC about a month before it was announced (a journalist) says that the Nogeria brothers will soon be a making a move to the UFC and huge adition to the HW divison (a contender for cro cop) and IMO an even bigger one in lil nog joining the LHW division and possible contender for Chuck maybe?

Chuck's getting old, Sylvia's going down to a Pride fighter, Ace Franklin went down to a Pride fighter, UFC will most likely lose Vera to Pride, Pride got Cung Le, but at least UFC has Matt Hamill(lol), they better figure it out, I think they should go after Arona

Hmm...That depends on who they can get. I don't see them, although I'd love for them to try, to get a hold of either Josh Barnett or Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, but I think Pride will guard those two heavily since Crocop already jumped ship.

The best possibility that I can foresee is for the UFC to reenlist Matt Lindland. I think it was pretty strange for them to let him go in the first place and what better than to recruit someone that many consider as a top American fighter who could wreak havoc in either the middleweight or even light heavyweight divisions. I'm saying this with the hopes that he survives his upcoming fight against Fedor.

As far as how he'll do...Well, he's already a name stateside so he does have that going for him. I can definitely seeing him giving Anderson Silva a run for his money and possibly taking the middleweight belt. As far as him competing in the light heavyweight division, I don't see him beating Chuck, but I do see Lindland giving Chuck the best fight he's had in a while.

Im pretty sure its gonna be CroCop. the UFC heavyweight devision is pretty weak right now, and cro cop is ranked 2 or 3 in the world so it should be no problem for him to clean it up and take the belt within his next 3 fights. also if he was to move down a weight class i think he would have no problem taking Chuck, just as he had no problem taking Wandy...

Also after he wins the HW belt supposedly he plans on going back to japan and take fedors belt (which i doubt) and unify them

Maurico "Shogun" Rua will be bought over from Pride after Chuck avenges his loss to Rampage.(Which Dana Obviously doesn't want to happen)

If he goes to the UFC it will be a great move for MMA!!!

I would like to see someone by the likes of Fedor to come along.

Considering the different debuts of Anderson Silva and Heath Herring, and still waiting on Rampage and Cro Cop, we can't be too sure right now.

I said is going to be "Rampage" Jackson because he is so talented, he's hard to beat and was famous in Pride Fighting Championships. If I was Chuck Liddell I better watch out!!!!!
