There was a similar, equally stupid question like this one on the Cat category page recently.
The thicko that posted that question quoted 'Manx' cats as being shaved to be used as toupees. They obviously didn't know their cat breeds as the most noticeable thing about a Manx cat is that it has no tail not that it has a desirable coat.
Thinking up really stupid questions probably keeps them occupied.
