We wouldn't turn down a trip to Six Flags....

Because most Christians believe that they have the answers to everything concerning religion. I'm not an Atheist but I have enough sense to know that the bible was written by man!

Aren't we ALL children of God, and if God is all-knowing (like any Christian will tell you) then didn't God know that an Atheist would be born an Atheist. With that said, why would he shun them? This is just their life path that they chose for THIS life because of whatever lessons they have to learn to perfect their soul and go on to the next level after reincarnation.

I know this answer may be crap to any Athiest since they do not believe in a God, however this is just my simple way of rationalizing other peoples life choices so I don't judge anyone in a negative way. Which I have found in my personal experience that a lot of Christians have a very bad habit of doing just that.

The last thing I want to say is only this - no one truly knows the answers to anything about religion or spirituality until after we die, I just believe life is easier if you have Faith in something, anything, and whatever Faith you choose is YOUR business and yours alone.

First, it's also muslims and Jews, not just Christians.

Second, if atheists don't BELIEVE heaven exists, then - when the atheist dies and he sees the sign that says "Heaven 2 miles Straight Ahead" or he sees St. Peter waving him over saying, "These are the pearly gates!" - the atheist says, "No, heaven doesn't exist. I don't WHAT is 2 miles ahead or WHAT those gates are, but I KNOW they ain't heaven!" and he walks the OTHER way.

It's just the same as if I gave you a ticket to Six Flags, and you say "this looks fake" and throw it away. It could be real - it could be fake. But YOU have decided to end the discussion for YOURSELF by throwing away the ticket you BELIEVE is fake.

Just like the possibility of heaven.

Not sure of all Christians. I'm a Christian, and I don't believe I'm going to heaven at all.

At Psalms 37:9-11 it says the wicked will be destroyed and those remaining righteous ones will inherit the earth.

I have the earthly hope, of living on a paradise earth in peace, just as God intended in the beginning.

Hope this helped!

If you have never been told about Christ and have never heard the Gospel then you have the opportunity to choose for eternal life for the first time in your life when it is finally revealed to you, however most Atheists know of Christ already and His Gospel message of salvation and have not decided for Christ, there is a big difference in the two.

Because they live what they believe. Unlike what several of the answers on here say...I have found the true "believer" is not wrapped on in themselves as much as in others.....with that said there are a very many that just don't truly understand that it is not about them but about the everyone,,,,,

They don't think it's real but it is. The bible says that a lost person can't understand things of the bible and God, because they lack the presence of the Holy Spirit in them who reveals things to us. The Holy Spirit comes to each person at some point in their life in an effort to reside in them if they will invite Him in, but when people ignore and deny Him he will leave them alone and it is utterly hopeless from then on for them to believe in God, because God's presence isn't there to nudge them, all that is there is the sinful nature of the world.

No one comes to the Father except thru Jesus. No one comes to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws him. That's a better ticket than a year pass to Disneyland! If they ain't calling you ,you're not gonna' want to go anyway.

The silly person who said Jews will go to hell is wrong! The Jews are God's promised people!

Because we continually offer to introduce you to the person who has the key to Heaven, and you continually say Heaven and Jesus are not real, and say we are stupid. By rejecting Jesus you reject your only chance to enter Heaven.
