Oh I am so sorry you are having gallbladder problems! Is it diseased? Or do you just have stones? They wanted to take mine out...but that is not an option for me. I have done MUCH research on this subject. Since I only had one stone(rather large!), I decided I was not going to have mine removed. So, I found a homeopathic medicine called 'Dynorgan.' It worked wonderfully! It dissolved and flushed the stone out of my system. The reason I chose not to have mine removed, I found out that stones can start forming in your liver. And I could not find out what they did to resolve that.
As far as your diet......eat only low fat foods, and watch how much cold dairy products you eat. Also..if you will eat lots of Extra Virgin Olive Oil...that will help. A family member said it's the amount of food that she eats that bothers hers. So maybe eat small amounts for awhile??
I truly wish you the best of luck...and a speedy recovery.

It would have been better if you would have written that whether you are having Cholicystitis(stone in gall bladder) or cholilithiesis ( thickening of gall bladder's wall) It would have been better if you have stone than lithotripsy is the best treatment, if thickening than Laproscopic surgery should be done.

Gall bladder produces bile to emusify fats. Try not too eat any saturated fat food. It can only prevent the situation from worsening. See what your doc has to say.

When you have an attack, put a heating pad over the area. Mylanta gelcaps kind of worked. Try to keep your foods low fat-like baked fish, chicken, etc.
