i want to go camping at loch ness does anyone know of free camp sites?

I doubt it. On our way to Loch ness we were tired , it was late about eleven in the evening. Pulled over and tried to catch a nap. The police were there in seconds, where and how they got there so fast i would not know, but they just sat behind us in their car with their blue light flicking, it was scary like bad cops in the movies, just watching us. We moved on and they followed us for a while and then pulled of the road again. They do not allow you to sleep anywhere where you have not paid for in Scotland, it is very very scary when you are tired and all the places are full up and you have no place to sleep. You will probably be able to camp in one of the campsites but you will pay. Good luck and remember , no sleeping in car on the side of the road.:))))

I have tried the web for many campsite for free and believe me their aint any near Loch ness..Live in scotland and have been that way......Oh and you wont find NESSIE there either.... You should not have many problems from the plod, as you wont see one for miles......
