There are no spirits or other entities roaming on earth, so cats cannot see these things.

Well i think that could be possible, i mean why not? they are animals we are humans maybe they have gifts that we dont know about. In Colombia where im from, there are alot of stupid stuff said about cats, like something about the devil and cats but i dont not think dats true, cats are really cute and calm animals. So yeah i do think there is a possibility they can see spirits, specially with their eyes.

I don't believe that any of us truly know the answers to these sorts of questions until we die.
However, I personally believe they can. Animals have a higher sense of awareness towards danger and weather, so why not the higher engergy levels of the afterlife as well?? I've seen cats do some very strange things before.

I have heard this before too. I have heard that cats and dogs are very sensitive to spirits/ghosts. Who knows if its true or not??:)

I have seen cats stare at what I saw as nothing. I've seen them jump I heard then meow(talk) to something that I couldn't see.They can't talk each other out of it like we do. Human babies do the same thing. The we tell them there isn't anyone there. The after a while they stop seeing themselves.

Well I dont believe in spirits roaming on earth they either in heaven or hell and thats that. So I guess my answer is no.

I sincerely believe that cats are sensitive to other vibrations and beings... and when they walk sideways with their fur standing out they are said to be playing with the elementals.......
research that, you will see it repeated in literature throughout history...
and that is why in horror movies and such you always see the cat or dog sensing danger or something wrong way way way before the humans.

Yes, I think it is because my cat sits and stares at something but there's nothing there! I think it's the spirit of my other cat that died of cancer! They were always together!

I have watched my cats who were sleeping suddenly jump and seemingly watch "nothing" move across the living room. I believe they can see things which we can't. Sometimes I envy them. LOL Take Care

Personally, I like to believe so but the myth is more probably because they can see in the dark and have very accute senses, so "see" and hear things that we cant.
