I took Zoloft for about 1 year and tappered off it. My question is however, what do others do who still have problems with anxiety? I don't feel I need medication everyday but I do need help with anxiety sometimes, are their meds that you can take only when you feel anxiety coming on?

anxiety is a symptom... medication alone wont get rid of the problem. the usual practice is a combination of medication and psychotherapy. if the frequency of your anxiety has decreased and you did not go to therapy during the time you were taking zoloft, this is a great time to do it. it will help you get to the root of the problem and it will teach you tools on how to handle anxiety in a non-pharmachological way... good luck!!
