I believe everyone has the potential to, but not all will fulfill it in one lifetime. It is possible but not likely. I look at earth as a schoolroom and you keep coming back until you finally graduate.

No. I don't believe we have a predefined destiny which is laid out for us.

Really, what would be the POINT of that? It would be like life is a play and we are all actors who have been chosen for roles. That just doesn't make any sense.

Little destinies, teeny tiny little destinies I can buy. But not an entire life's purpose.

My first answer is to say No. And my second response is to say, I'm not sure.

Because we can not know our true purpose for life without God's guidance, and when we involve self in that equation there's never a positive outcome. When we come to realize that we are not full filling our destiny or purpose -- we must also be ready to not rely on ourselves, but to only rely on God.

I don't think we have a destiny. That suggests that there is some predetermined end, other than death, for each of us, that has been decided upon prior to our participation.

We might set a goal for ourselves and achieve that, but "destiny" smacks of Greek tragedy.

The faith for tomorrow will bring more new things if you will search for them. I am not sure that we will find what we are deeply looking for but the destination is not the big thing. The journey worth more and the first step to start going there.

We don't have any options but to fulfill our destiny. God has predestined it. Whether we arrive at it with joy in our hearts after loving the journey or with hate in our hearts is totally up to us.

My understanding is that if we have a destiny, then we have no choice but to fulfil it. Isn't that what destiny means?
