I was really surprised when I had a tattoo with large areas of colour done just how uncomfortable it was while it was healing, and how bizarrely the scabs seemed to behave. My previous tattoos weren't small but they didn't involve any large blocks of ink, and it was a real eye opener having one that did. However, it healed up fine in the end.

coaching H lightens and tightens the exterior. Bacitracin and gauze is what I continuously have used without issues and quickly healing. you may save it coated for 3 days...that doesn't be counted except this is contaminated; yet, why might you want to? it's going to sluggish the healing technique and the only earnings is that the tattoo will heal smoother and scab much less. Scabbing, while it falls off, can get rid of a few coloring granted. If this is contaminated, nevertheless, you ought to no longer save it coated up via fact it's going to easily worsen (warmth is a catalyst for bacteria enhance). you would be attentive to this is contaminated via fact this is mushy, purple and looks ... nicely, contaminated. the previous chick is acceptable... you ought to've taken the masking off after almost 3 to 5 hours or so and enable it breathe. A) circulate to the physician approximately it hurting if this is ABNORMALLY hurting (this isn't any longer uncommon for it to be sore if this is over a mushy area, which the wrist is, or the tattoo artist rather digs in deep for sturdy coloring); and B) coaching H? trouble-free experience dude...this is for hemorrhoids no longer tats - use bacitracin, triple antibiotic or neosporin ointment as a exchange.

It sound to me like you should lay off the ointment. Just a hunch, but have you been putting something like Neosporin an it? Also, did you leave it covered for to long? It feels bruised because it is in full color and your artist may have been heavy handed, probably bled a lot too. Just wash it 2-3 times a day with mild, non-deodorant soap, and use fragrance fee lotion on it. I never use any petroleum based ointment on mine. In fact my artist is totally against them. If there are red STREAKS going away from the tat, you will want to let a doctor look at it. Good luck.

You should never use a petroleum base product on a new tattoo.(ie A&D;neosporin;etc) Go to your tattooist and get some Tattoo Goo or you can get some from their website. It's all natural, doesn't clog pores, cuts healing time in half, reduces redness, itching, scabbing, and irritation. Use it 2x day until it's healed fully.
Hope this helps and good luck!

What ever you do donot be putting any kind of healing balm on it.It is better if you bathe it in warm water and then let it dry naturally.....Where is it situated, if it somewhere that you can expose to the fresh air that is the best thing for it.....I have full sleeves, back, chest and legs.....Listen to my advice and you should be ok.If it has not healed within 3-4 days of that then i would go back to the tattooist and see what he says, if that fails then go see you doctor. Getting an infection in their can be dangerous if the infection gets deep under the skin.......

Make sure u go see a doctor before u put any creams on it cause i learned the hard way. When i got my tat on my lower back it got infected from the color (apparently im allergic to the dye in the ink that was used) i wound up having a nice boil on my tat. So i had to get that painful thing removed and now i have a nice scar on my tat and the color faded alot from the cream i was using (mind u it was provided to me by the shop that i got my tat at) So i would go see a doctor and make sure its not infected and make sure ur not allergic to the ink that was used.

My son (tattoo artist) says thin layer of A&D ointment. It shouldn't have scabbed. May have to be redone if the scabbing is really bad. If infected follow doctors instructions till healed then go from there.

Best thing to do is call the artist and ask. Keep a thin (note THIN) layer of neosporin over it. But call the parlor and speak with the artist. They'll tell you what to do and then follow their advice.

It sounds very much to me like you may have an infection. Do not cover the area, or apply any creams until you have visited the doctor - scarring could waste your nice new tat if you are not careful. See the doc and get it sorted, and i mean NOW!
