Usually vomits only during the night. Does not appear sick before hand, just starts licking. I have tried several different foods now and she gets no people food. Its usually just yellow stuff thin, some times a bit mucousy.

Has she been eating grass when out for a walk, if so her system is missing something. To be on the safe side I would take her to the vet. Good luck.

I have a cross Yorkie and her as well from time to time-once every few weeks, will throw up as well.. Its the same as you are saying I would have to say its nothing to be too worried about..But if it make you really afraid a vet check up would not hurt,,,Chloe my dog usually does it if she had been eating grass which we try not to let her do. but also if she has had to much rich food(Chicken or Hard Cheese) that day .Our vet said that it can be quite normal as long as it is not all the time.

Sounds like bile and saliva. I wouldn't rush her to a Vet but would ask the next time you have her in to see him/her OR if the vomiting becomes worse I would take her to a Vet of course.
Yorkie tend to have delicate tummies...mine LOVES paper, any paper especially paper that has writing on it and is knocked off the counter by my kitty. :( He doesn't eat much of it, I guess he get enough fibre in his diet, he just LOVES to shred it. So my daughter's story about the dog eating her homework IS TRUE! lol
Good luck!

It could just be worms. A dog can get them right after you treat them. It is just the luck of the draw! You could try some pepto that will calm them and settle their stomach. I would for sure call the vet if you have tried a couple of things and it hasn't helped. Good Luck

I would get her in to see the Doc. pronto if this has been going on for a while. Vomiting could be a sign of parasites, pancreatitis, shunts, foreign body ingestion, or other diseases. Ask the Doc about doing cbc, IOF, and Lipase testing, and possibly taking a few x-rays to see if anything is caught up in there.

There could be some sort of throat irritation. Not to sound cliche but a vet could give you more details and advice than anyone on here.

We can suggest all sorts of stuff and we could all be wrong. Better to be safe than sorry.

Good Luck

Sounds like a gastric upset, would'nt worry if it's only occasionally but if it becomes more persistent the vet can prescribe an anti vomiting tablet

Call a vet.
Your dog might be alergic to the food you are feeding. My cat was vomiting and she stopped once I switched her food.

Try a good premium food with no by-products in it, found in a pet store.
