He has just started elementary school as a first grader,and he came back and told me there's this really beautiful chick in the class and he has shown signs of love towards her. Should I let my brother woo her and date her?

A 7-year old boy doesn't yet understand the meaning of love. The main part that sticks out to me is that he says there is a really beautiful chick, something that really shouldn't matter if he 'loves' her. Does he mention any other qualities of her? There is no way he is going to grow up to marry that 7-year old or younger girl when he grows up (the odds are very unlikely that he would). I think he should wait a while and see if he still likes her. It is strange how a 7-year old is already thinking of girls. They get younger every day...

He's 7. You can't "date" when you are 7, so I say just let whatever happens happen and if something else develops, take him to a therapist. Besides, what kind of trouble could 2 7 year olds get into with "dating" on the playground?

Its just probably a crush and he won't act on it at all. You have to remember a 7 year old preception of love is very diffrent from someone older like 16-17 years old. Just leave it be.

NO! He's 7 years old! He is way too young to understand what love is and such. I really think at that age, no child understands what love and dating really is. Explain to him that he is too young and only a child and when he gets older to understand what love is and such, then he can start dating.

No, you can arrange a play date, but beyond that he has no real understanding.
