3M used to sell it and it was called 'style and stripe' but cant find it now. I know any vinyl lettering place will do it in metre lengths but i prefer one roll. looking for a twin gold stripe.

yes ive tried halfords etc, even spelling out the long words such as 'stripe' lol. no its not for a new car its on a 20 year old US chrysler 5th Avenue. Im ex bodyshop and even the shop where i worked only gets it in metre lengths now. places such as demon tweaks and other 'boy racer'shops only seem to sell a very limited stock. i could mask it and airbrush it but i just prefer the stripe on a roll if poss.

You could try here:

Or maybe here if you need somewhere in the UK (although I don't think they do the double stripe):

But... why would you want to use this? Doing up a historic (retro) auto? I presume you couldn't possibly want this for a new car?!

Hahahahaha style and stripe, they were half right anyway. Try a signwriter, they might have the stuff You need, or be able to get it for You.

Halfrauds probably, but if you go in there to ask make sure you spell it out slowly and emphasise long words.

Not the sharpest tools around.
