Dont do the Atkins diet it is not good for you - healthy eat and exercise.

I'm not on about the atkins diet whatsoever but increase the amount of protein you eat, cut down on your carbohydrates (but not completely) eat homemade soup, drink water between meals.
Protein makes you feel more full than a meal without protein. Eat low GI foods. (glyciemic index) like wholemeal bread rather than white bread. Cut portion sizes down.

Write a food diary - that is probably my best tip.
I am doing one at the moment and at night I sit down and assess the days eating.

Have you got any exercise videos/dvds??
Or could you go for a walk at lunchtimes??
Remember not to get too upset if you dont lose weight quickly. It is a slow process. 1-2 pounds a week is fine and you shouldnt feel de moralised if you only lose a pound. Good luck

Well, the truth of the matter is, if by "best way" you mean the best way to drop weight, then yes, the Atkins diet is one of the best diets, in the sense that it forces your body to use fat for fuel instead of carbohydrates. But whether or not the Atkins diet is healthy is an entirely different matter. Also, the Atkins diet is not a sensible long term option. So really, the Atkins diet isn't the best way.

Do this instead.
Add no fat i.e.butter oil marg.your food.
Add no dressings to your salad.
Only have minimum gravy or sauces.
Cut right down on bread ,pasta, rice, potatos
Do not use sugar
Keep puds and sweets for special times only.
Diet drinks only please
Keep cheese consumption to the minimum
Cut down on fatty meats burgers and sausages
fill up on fruit and veg
Every evening go for a walk .Half an hour will do but gradually build up your speed so you are really exerting yourself.

BUT you already know all this I am sure.Just eat the right way and up your exercise the weight will fall off----no need for gimmicks or replacement meals the answers is really in your head.Look after yourself well, and all the best.

i do it for a mth before holidays and usually lose well over 14lbs....it's a short term fix tho and i dont think it leavs you feeling that healthy and is hard to follow. I find just having carbs in moderation is the best thing and cutting out all white bread, pasta, rice ect can make a long term difference. If you like a drink try and avoid wine and beer and stick to vodka, baracrdi ect with a low calorie mixer. Remember that out body needs fruit and veg to be healthy and have the odd treat now and again....good luck x

No, I've done it before. When I reached my target, I started eating carbs again and gained it all back very fast. I was very tired during the diet because I didn't have any carbs for energy. I was always hungry. I suggest eating small portions of healthy food. 5 or 6 times a day. Whole grains, fruit, veggies, yogurt.. ect. Don't overeat during any of the meals. Stay focus and plan your day.

the atkins diets is one thing only and that is bad!
its a diet that involves you not consuming any carbohydrates whats so ever and although it will work , it ends up taking you back to where you were in the first place. thats because when you do start consuming carbos again your body just puts all the weight back on. its also very bad on your digestive system. glad to help. good luck

Diet smiet....There is one way only to lose weight, you take in less calories than you expend, that is it, it is very simple. Excercising is great but it burn very few calories...you got to cut down on what you put in your mouth...
All the diets out there are pure hype and are only there to sell books, people go on them, get off them and they gain all the weight back, that is not a cure it is a quick fix....
so eat less, do more activity, like get off this computer and go for a walk, cleanup the house, move and don't eat as much...pluse cut out butter and stuff like that...get busy and drink water, take vitamins...

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a
