I don't know.. but I know that it can be used to seal cuts... a Guy my dad worked with sliced his finger from knuckle to tip, put superglue in it and held it for a while... then he went back to work.

I don't no ,but it stuck a nasty gash I had in my scalp a few years ago and it sticks my fingers every time I use it.
