I have a Frilled Canary couple who has been together for eight months now. And the female keeps laying eggs that never hatch although she incubates all the time. When I break the eggs on the 15th incubation day I find them not fertile at all. I tried changing the male Canary but still she lays eggs with no chicks!
What shall I do?

Get another female. If these eggs have been fertilized, and this female has sat on them for incubation, and still no live births, there may be something wrong with your lady bird. PLUS, you should not have to break these eggs, and you may be doing it too soon. The chicks hatch out themselves.

The eggs are unfertilized because most birds do not breed in captivity. The laying of eggs is a natural course of a female cycle. If the eggs are not fertilized, there will be no new birds.
