I don't think I did when I flew from Mexico City to Carmen. But that was before everyone got super-paranoid about terrorists. A passport is anyway a useful id document, not very heavy, and you'll need it to get into or out of the country, so you may as well take it with you within Mexico

Nope. But since it the best form of identification you should use it anyway.

There Will be no passport controls set up when you fly domestically within a country so you will never be asked for it. You will need to show Govt issued ID though. And since you will be in a foreign country the best way to do that is to have you passport.

When you are traveling within the country you do not need to have a passport.

As far as traveling into Mexico if you travel by car or boat you do not need a passport, but if you are traveling via air you will need a passport.

No you don't need a passport to fly within a country, but it is good to have one just in case something happens. Be sure to keep it in a safe place though!

No, even once you're a distant places citizen, you should use a drivers license or state I.D. card in case you have one. yet , as a distant places citizen, you have got your passport with you, so as which would be fantastic. human beings do not desire a passport to return and forth interior the rustic.
