for me, there are two words described here-
HAPPINESS- comes through happenings. If people are nice to you and do good to you, or a situation is good, then you can be happy. The "inside job" you speak about is what I would call JOY- you can have joy in the midst of stuff not going well, if you know the Lord. a great acronym for Joy is
J- Jesus
O- others
Y- You
If you put Jesus first, others second and you third, joy will come.
Just a thought!!

Happiness could be achieved by People, Places and things. Deep inside its a everlasting spring of bubbling joy not happiness or sadness.

Life is hard for everyone and that`s a fact,we all hopefully experience little episodes of happiness now and again, but this life is nothing more than a pilgrimage to God and our eternal home, and even Jesus did not promise to make us happy in this life but certainly in the next life.

If people, places and things are what make you happy then you were never really happy to begin with. You have to be happy with yourself.

yes, I had people, places, and things, but then the mob took them, it was an inside job.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by inside job exactly?

The closest I can make of this is that happiness is inside.

Your thoughts?
