If you have a spouse & no kids, how many dependents and exemptions do you have for paychecks & tax returns?

only for the exemption for having a wife. because you cant claim if you have dependents but you can claim for exemption for your kids

For withholding purposes, 2 or 3. For filing purposes, 2: One for each of you.

I believe it would be one, if your spouse doens't work ...
You claim yourself and you can claim them if they aren't going to file seperately...
