ummm duh.
a hot guy (i suspect), TONS of money, a house by the beath!
forget love, you're living the american dream!!!
also, he only lied about his financial situation because he didn't want to scare you off with all his money. if you had 4 million dollars in the bank, and your bf only made 30,00 a year, would YOU tell him??
also, he might've been afriad that you would only like him for his money.
definately go with him tho! you're SO lucky!

He might be playing you. Or, he might be telling the truth. Until you know for sure, give him the benefit of the doubt, but keep your eyes peeled.
The rich guys I know would just avoid discussing money at all to avoid the gold diggers. Mentioning that you started at X, now you got a raise -- it's either tacky or deceitful.
If it's just tacky, and you like the guy, stick around and hold onto your skepticism for a while.
You can't ask him for proof. You have to get to the point that you trust him. If you can't get there, move on no matter the $$s. I don't think the money, even if there, will be worth it in the end for a guy that you can't trust.

has to sell his house
beach house closer to office
sounds like he is lying and hiding from someone
where is his office what does he do for a living
sounds like he is involved in something shady or illegal
people you just meet do not usually discuss salary or how much money they have in the bank
when they start out lying they keep on lying
i would be very leery of him
i would never move in with someone i met only a few months ago

1. There's no proof in documents you've seen that he is rich.
2. Money doesn't buy happiness if there really is millions.
3. IF there are millions, maybe he wanted to make sure you weren't some gold digger first.
4. I think you may have gotten yourself a liar. And if your relationship starts on a lie, it'll end on a lie too. What goes around, comes around.

If he lied to you about his money are you worried that he may lie to you about something else? If you really like him, sit down and talk and get all the cards out on the table. Why does he assume that because he is supposedly "rich" that it will be the deal breaker? If he wants to be with you he needs to be completely honest. It's all or nothing!

Sure you're confused - confused about the moral issues regarding living with a guy for the money. Don't kid yourself, your question says it all. And you know the right thing to do, don't you? He's proven himself untrustworthy. If you go with him now, you're prostituting yourself. Do you want to go through life being known as a "ho"??? If not, dump this liar...

Why did he say such a lie? Does he have any problem with the ladies he use to date with? Maybe he is afraid that girls are with him because of his money. Give him another chance.
Unless he was poor and he made all that money by doing illegal businesses and now by telling you this lie he covers a bigger lie.

He was probably making sure you didn't love him just for his money, a very common thing people with money do. Its really simple, do you love him or his money? If its him stay, if its his money, leave. By the way ask him if he can send me some $$.

If you have never seen the office then its a lie, if he cannot share more than what he is just saying then its a lie. If he can lie about one thing he can lie about more and if you really have doubts then tell him to show you proof. Why drop your world in a sea of uncertainty?
