She should brush well. Actually there is no insight to give you, she is 20 years old. As parents we want to do what we can to protect our children and keep them safe but they do turn into adults and have to make there own decisions all we can do is be there to support them - even if we feel they are making stupid decisions. You say "another" female so does that mean she has dated girls before? Do you have a problem with her dating women is it you that needs to know how to deal with it? It is a relationship she is in all you need to do is be there for her, love her, support her, and at least be nice to the person she is bringing home. All that matters is your daughter needs to know her mom will always be there for her.

I have a friend who did something similar. She had a relationship for 2 years that ended very abruptly, and afterward, she started dating the girl friend that had always supported her through the first few months after the break-up. She says it's because she didn't see another girl, she saw someone who genuinely made her happy in a time that she was not happy. Otherwise, she claims not to be lesbian, or even bisexual. Maybe it's that females are more sympathetic about problems with exes? I don't know. But I hope my story helped!

Older man abusive and then a girl.
Don't take this wrong, cause there is nothing wrong with Gays or lesbians. However, sounds like she is having trouble forming healthy relationships. If she is gay. all the power to her in her relationships. If she is having emotional issues that are causing her to have trouble identifing herself socially or emotionally or even sexually, talk with her and help decide if she needs help.
Please remember that homosexuality is not a mental disorder though. She maybe gay and may have been struggling trying to be "normal", then she finally gave up and decided to be herself.

Seems to me it doesn't matter if your daughter's partner is male or female. I think the true question is, What is your daughter seeking within these people's personalities to fulfill HER emotional needs. It appears her partners have a similar thread. She is 20 she has to decide for herself what it is that she is seeking and why. You can ask her to ponder the question but I doubt if a 20 year old desires to be introspective and seek enlightenment.

Another woman lost thanks to a shithead of a man! Don't judge her or think its a negative reflection on you. She might just be looking for a caring relationship and feels safer in a woman's arms. She may not enjoy it and go back to men sometime, but let her be herself and support her (doesn't mean you have to agree with it). But do send her this way cause my wife and I enjoy the company of another woman! hehe

The only way you can find the true answer to this is by asking her. I think maybe now she is sick of guys and feels like they do nothing but hurt her, or she could have been bi and no one knew ask her.
