Well, first we would have to establish his actual, historical existance, which hasn't been done yet. Next once we had a real guy who had lived at some point in the appropriate time period, we would have to verify his divinity, which I have no idea how you would set up that experiment. What would you use for your control group? Then I would have to figure out how to contact him in the great beyond and set up a couple of meetings, get to know him, see what kind of guy he is personally, maybe play some Soul Calibur III and bond a little. Then maybe I could trust him, but even then I think friend is about as far as I could go, the whole lord and master thing is a little too out there for me, not into dom/sub stuff.

No , I believe that Jesus was abused by his father. He never had a life of his own and lived for his father's agenda. I hope that you would never allow your son to die in order to fulfill your own purpose. Did God realize that the majority of people on this planet choose not to be Christian because they are happy with another belief and could care less about Jesus Christ? If God shared some of his immortality with his son, Jesus would still be alive today performing miracles. No other religion could compete with that. Didn't God think this through? If you treated your son the way God treated his, you would be in jail.

I believe in and trust Jesus Christ. The Jesus of Love, the Jesus of understanding, the Jesus of redemption, the Jesus who teaches not to judge. The Jesus who taught through love and examples. This is the Jesus of my understanding.

I do not know the Jesus who judges and hates that I hear about so often on these boards. I have never met the Jesus who threatens eternal damnation for questioning why I continue to believe and be associated with those who use his name as a weapon.

No. I don't need a savior let alone a master! Sorry, not into that whole S&M thing when it comes to religion.

And Jesus isn't in my pantheon of Gods. I worship the Norse Gods and Goddesses.

Yes... Although still a sinner, I war with the Lord and Master part of the relationship. I pray for the day that I'll humble myself fully and allow God to work through me and not on me as much.

I so much want to take the lead and try to shape God's Will to mine.

Yes and He has never failed me. If you trust and very importantly, you obey Him, He will always be there for you. His Word tells us that He wants us to give Him our burdens. "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matther 11: 29-30. (NIV Bible). Also,
"If anyone hears what I am saying and doesn't take it seriously, I don't reject him. I didn't come to reject the world; I came to save the world. But you need to know that whoever puts me off, refusing to take in what I'm saying, is willfully choosing rejection"
(Message Bible). The Holy Spirit is speaking to you and it is up to you to accept. "Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you" James 4:8A (King James Version).. You can read the Bible online @ www.biblegateway.com. See Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, Romans 5:1 and finally 8:38-39. Also John 3:16-21. God is calling you unto Him. It is your free-will choice to answer and accept. Find a Bible based Church. There will be people there to come along side you. To encourage and lift you up!

Yes I do. But remember, to call him Lord and Master is the same thing. He not only died to save us (Saviour), He also died to reassert his dominion over us (Lord and Master) that was His from the beginning.

Save me from what? A sin created by a non existent Adam and Eve. No, that is not only ridiculous but an insult to human rationality.

A lord, never! I would never claim Jesus as my Lord, I have no clue whom he is. All I have is a few books written years after he died and modified by governments and churches.

Master, no way! I am not a slave to irrational teachings produced by the church and by governments..
