An HNC takes 2 years and then you can do an HND which takes one more year.

HNC is simply Higher National Certificate while HND is Higher National Diploma the former is first level while the latter is probably the second or final level of the EDXEL qualification

There is slightly more work for the HND.
For example you will do 3 modules for the HNC and 5 modules for the HND.

hnd is a diploma and the other hnc is a certificate
hnd are normally full time and the hnc is normally part time

One is a Higher National Certificate & the other is a Higher National Diploma, you can do either in Agriculture ( I have the Scottish Certificate)
