Nope, and it never will. The word of God is always Good News. It is for myself, every day is a new day, and every day I need the Word of God. God's Word is not like men word, that cannot create anything by his mouth, because we are just creatures. Yet the word of God even if is the same, always come to my help, and in a different situation or crisis to restore my life. I am not trying to teach you anything, I am just talking about myself. There was a time in which I didn't believe in any religion or in God and there was no man who could change my life or my way of thinking but the word of God did. My life has change so much after that, and I mean internally. Today I have peace and I am sure that anybody will pay as much money as they can to have a moment of peace in this world. It will 'jump the shark' when the end of the world comes.

Jumping the shark refers to the episode when a TV show has peaked and then goes down from there. The reference comes from the Happy Days episode when Fonzie jumped a shark tank. It is considered to be the peak of the show, and it deteriorated afterwords. Due to the psychological necessity that the majority of people will always have for religion, it will continue to evolve to serve the needs of those who need it. Thus, it cannot jump the shark.

It has. It would be an interesting question to see when people think that it first jumped the shark. And, of course, that would vary by type of religion.

I don't believe it has, it just hasn't had any good moments come around in a long time. The establishment hasn't really done it any justice but I believe there will be a great revival some time in the not-too-distant future. You can count on it.

The head is dead, but the lumbering body hasn't fallen over yet. It is a hard beast to kill, even if it is based on imagination.
