I've known this girl for quite a while now- around 5-6 months. I'm not really the dating type- I haven't had a single past relationship, ever. I really like this girl though (and I know for a fact that she does have *some* feelings for me, but I'm not sure how much) and I want to tell her how I feel soon. Question is, should I ask her now, so she knows how I feel and can act on it, or should I wait until Valentine's day so it seems like I'm more thoughtful?
I've waited all of January trying to tell her already (the whole month of planning!) but things never quite came the way I wanted to, and so I never told her- extremely frusterating. Any helpful advice?

What if she is already taken for V-Day??
I would say tell her how you feel now. Girls love it when a guy is direct, it makes us flattered, and feeling special.
If only there were more guys like you in the world.

I know a lot of women don't share my sentiment, but I've never much cared for Valentine's Day dates, proposals, weddings, all that stuff. It makes me wonder if the other person is caught up in the holiday romance or if they truly care. I would ask her now so she'll know you care and aren't just lonely and looking for someone to share the day with. This way you can plan something really special for Valentine's Day, and it will be a day you look back on with joy, no matter where life takes you.

I say tell her now, If things don't go the way you want them to you will never look at valentine's day the same again, and you never know if she might make plans for v-day when it gets closer, and I think it is best because everyone always associates asking people out on v-day this time of year so it will make you different and I think she will appreciate it.

Wait till the valentines day..If this girl does not have any boyfriend then the chances are quite high that she would be feeling quite lonley on this day . She will find your proposal very romantic & will react positively to it.. Just dont go overboard while proposing & dont expect her to accept your proposal immediately.. She might require some time to think about it.

Saint Valentine is the patron saint of love, and also those with the plague. I would not take that 50/50 chance. Tell the person how you feel now, so that maybe you could celebrate Valentines together.

Why not wait until Valentines Day and you can surprise her? Try writting her a letter explaining your feelings for her and give it to her with a Red Rose or something. She will have a keepsake of you and it will be special to her. Good Luck

Don't wait, tell her now by maybe asking her to lunch or something casual. Then when it starts to work out you can have Valentine's Day to express even further how you feel about her.

You should do it now, and than spend your first date as a gf+bf in your valentine!
Every day passing is a day waste, and a chance if she's gonna meet someone new.
Do it now and spend more time to know each other!

Don't wait - just do it bro. You see there is no other way to start this dating game except to start it. Read what's on this website though. It will make or break you. And remember - like anything else you get better with time.
