My sister and her husband have tried to get home owner's insurance but were turned down. She said they were denied because her husband is a diabetic and she is considered obese because of her weight She may be overweight BUT not obese. They need the insurance in case of one of the other's demise in the future that the home will be paid for. They are purchasing a triple-wide mobile home in North Carolina. Can you please give me the name(s) of insurance companies that will be able to give them home owner insurance in North Carolina.

Thank you all for your assistance in the aforementioned matter.

You are not talking about home owners insurance, what you mean is life insurance
Life insurance companies usually issue a policy to overweight people. It will be rated, meaning will pay more according to the rate applied. There are companies that specialize in this kind of risks but you will pay more. In your sister case if she losses significant amount of weight she can always reapplied for standard rate with the same company or take a different policy

OK, homeowners insurance covers THE HOUSE. They don't care HOW Much you weigh. You're describing LIFE insurance, that pays off the mortgage if they die.

She'll be able to get it, but it's going to cost a WAY WAY lot. They should call a few independent agents in their area for quotes on 20 year term life insurance, for the mortgage amount. It will probably be $5,000 each, per year, or more.
