I am 21 years old 165cm and I can’t seem to put on weight. I only weigh 44kilos and no matter how much I eat I cant seem to put on the kilos. I have seen doctors about this but they just tell me to eat more which doesn’t work. I hate my body I still look like I’m fourteen and I am constantly being told I look anorexic. I am nearly twenty two I just want to be a healthy weight are there any suggestions out there to help me gain weight because they would be much appreciated? Also why is it ok to tell people they look too skinny but it’s not ok to tell someone there too fat? Just wondering

Assuming there is nothing physically wrong with you, a diet high in calories should work. Try eat 5-6 meals each day and I would definitely focus on food high in calories, carbohydrates, and moderate amounts of fat. Eating late at night before going to bed is something else that should help. I've used some weight gain powder formulas that when drank late at night before bed have really packed on the weight. Not sure how active you are, but I would only use weight training as it will certainly stimulate your appetite. In regards to your question about why it is OK to tell people they are too skinny, I think it is more acceptable. Look at models now. They are too skinny! The world has a problem with obesity and so much is being done to correct that problem. I think that is why it is more acceptable ridicule someone for being so skinny than it is for someone overweight. If people can't respect you for who you are than that is their problem. You can only control how you feel about yourself.

Eating more speeds up your metabolism. To gain weight my mom started eating just 3 big meals a day and Ensure with breakfast. Eating fewer but bigger meals will slow down your metabolism. You can add snacks but since you are already eating like that you should actually eat less to gain weight. My mom found that whole milk, potatoes, bread, and other starches really heped her effort.

Sounds like you have a blessed, or cursed, metabolism. metabolism is the rate our body naturally burns calories. Yours sounds like it is very high. Most people would kill for that. But I understand your dilemma. OK...eat healthy. Still avoid fats and processed sugar. You may not gain weight with them, but you can get very ill with them. Try and accept the way you are my dear. And tell people to kiss your skinny butt if they do not like the way you look. You are at a healthy weight right now. Trust me.

Heres some advice,

Double Bacon Deluxe with extra cheese and mayo ... eat 2 of these burgers and 400 grams of potato chips a day... give it 2-3 weeks u'll be 50 + KG

You should try drinking some ensure, it will help you gain weight. You can find it at your local grocery store and they have different flavors to choose from. Be careful not to gain too much weight. Good luck. Ensure really helps.

well i would do weight lifting to tone you will be in shape and gain weight cuz muscle weighs more than fat.
and who cares what people think just tell them you have a really really high metabolism and that you like your boby. you probally look great in time you metabolism will slow down.

eat vegetables n do yoga as it keeps a person fit n in balance when a peson is fat it helps to loose weight n vice versa....my experience...u can check any yoga instructur in ur area or go on the net n find one i did it as my mom n dad told me......dunno maybe its "sociaty".i also dont like the idea m wid u for that matter....best of luck.......

u can eat more, but need to do a litter bit exercise so that your body will not weak
