Tenseh...You are correct this question folowed quickly as I did quickly dismiss this as any sort of Gospel for obvious reasons even Muslims should quickly dismiss it as it is not in agreement with the Qu'ran it is not hard to dismiss for Chrisitan or Muslim

Shirk....To me you seem to be a very wise man who has been sold one bill of Goods concerning an all powerful God who is powerless to keep his word pure. The Prophethood of Muhammad is obvious to any Christian or Jew and would have been obvious to any follower of the God of Abraham who requires more than a single witness to proclaim someone a prophet of God. A second witness obviously would not be corrupt scripture and would not be scripture revealed by the alledged prophet...Never in the history of man was a prophet anounced in this way and against the word of God and the previous scripture and the words of the prophets...Christ himself did nto come bearing record of himself...Yopu must surely agree this is not the was the God of Abraham prior to Muhammad revealed his truth...I agree that Muslims are not interested as a whole in these truths it is my hope that one may think for himself and consider we had a God before Muhammad I admit this has proved fruitless thus far....

Shirk Any discussions about the trinity would be based on what? The Qu'ran as all truths of God that are not in agreemtn wiht the Qu'ran are to be considered corrupt...Your idea of the trinity itsel where you say God creating himself is erred as God did not created himself he was before all creation this doctrine of the trinity can be found in his first scriptures the book of Moses....Which is quickly dismissed by Muslims as it does not agree with the word brought from Muhammad....No words of any prophet and no truth of God is to be given any heed that does not agree with the Qu'ran....To me this is a propble that all Truth is revealed only through one prophet who is not revelaed by God.....then you no longer have the word of God but the word of one man....God taught thois wasnot the way to reveal the truth for this reason....If I anounce myself and all truth comes from me....then I can deny all of God's truth and there is no source to even question me as I have all of God's truth

Djmantx, I as a sincere Muslim, has read some parts of the Gospel of Barnabas. I really can't tell you what I think about its authenticity...but if there is a book that says Jesus isn't the Messiah, then I totally refuse this book; since it contradicts the Koran. The Gospel of Barnabas may have been altered by humans such as the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told us: "Do not trust the people of the Bible (ie Jews and Christians) nor declare them liars."
We must not trust them because their books have been altered and their religious hierarchy has always been corrupt, while the normal Christians and Jews were very ignorant about their faiths and did not even speak the language of the Bible. Also, we should not declare them liars, because the Bible was a heavenly book but was corrupted due to many alterations; therefore many of its words could be correct. Remember that even though it may be apparent that some phrases of the Koran and the Bible may contradict each other, they may turn out to be complementary after all. Nevertheless, we as Muslims follow the Koran and the authentic sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). As a Sunni (Ash'ari or Maturidi), I follow authentic sayings of the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, muslim, Al Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban, Al Tabarani, Al Hakim, Ibn Majah, Al Tirmidhi, Ibn Hanbal,...etc..I do not need the Bible to guide me; especially that Muhammad's message is the final one. There are myriads of proof regarding the authenticity of the Koran and the true status of Muhammad (PBUH) being Allah's last messenger.
Anyhow, I think your method of discussion is very erroneous. You're trying to challenge the authenticity of the Koran and the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH); which is impossible for you to do. Besides, no Muslim is ready to listen to you.
I would suggest that you should start speaking to Muslims about what Christianity says about the Absolute Ultimate One Infinite Limitless Transdescent Omnipotent Omnipresent Almighty Creator and what are His Ever-Glorious Attributes. You may start debating with us about Allah's attribute of Power, and whether it is befitting to describe the Creator as being able to create Himself or not...or whether He is able to kill Himself or not...or whether He is able to change His Ever-Glorious Attributes or not...whether some of His Attributes are to vanish or not...or whether He could create another God; greater or equal or inferior to Him or not...etc. This is what Muslims shall be ready to argue with you about, because if you could prove that, then you could prove the possibility of the Creator changing Himself or incarnating Himself in the form of Jesus son Mary (PBUH), that was first an embryo, then a newborn baby, then a child, then a boy, then a youth...who ate, drank, went to the bathroom, knew of things while he was ignorant of many things, how he had a mother, grandparents,...etc
Again, you could discuss with Muslims basic theological issues; such as whether it is possible for the One God to be divisible, or if His Oneness is Absolute,...etc...in order to prove or disprove the trinity.
If you're able to discuss Muslims in such matters...then the discussions will be really enthusiatic. But what you're doing is that you're trying to cite phrases in the Koran with the belief that you've caught errors in the Koran. You remind me of many Christians and Jews who did that to each other; with the result that each of them became more and more stubborn in their beliefs.
Well...I'm waiting for a new style of questions that you'll give us and that will encourage us and enthusist us to respond to your questuions much more eagerly!

oh boy that was quick.
it is just today that I sent you the link to that Gospel of Barnabas and you posted the questions minutes after that. you did not know that it existed man.
did you have the time to read the whole thing before criticizing it?. I doubt
when you found that it does not contain the concept of trinity you wrote it off right?
any way it is difficult to argue with you on that one.
God bless
BTW here is the link for those who are interested.

Muslims (who ain't insane) believe both Muhammad (pbub) and Jesus were prophets. What they both did was lead their people. What they both were is Holy men. There's no debate in Islam regarding their status in the eyes of Muslims.
As for generalising and calling us all (Muslims) satan worshippers and wanting to blow up all Christians etc....why on earth would I want to blow up some of my own family and my bestfriends?
I live in England too, I'm Muslim yet I don't see myself as blowing up my own country-why would I?

Mohammed wrote the Koran while surrounded by renegade Christian heretics. Would it surprise you if they didn't?
When Mohammed claimed to have met Moses, he called him a "ruddy faced man". When he met Jesus he called him "frecked and of medium height". Of Abraham, he said, "Never have I seen a man more like myself" He also rode a fabulous creature called a BURAQ, that had a woman's face, a mules body, a peacock's tail, that was able to cover ,in a single bound, a distance as far as the eye could see. Believing the truth has never been a problem in Islam.

What's comical is that Christians will try to apply logic to evaluating other religions but never to their own. The bible has been proven to be wrong on almost every question of fact, yet Christians continue to cling to it as a source of truth. That is both a comedy and a tragedy.

This is just another of satan's tools to take satan's converts deeper from the truth. He has some power on earth but lacks the ability to tell the truth. He is the author of all lies according to the BIBLE. Have a great day..

Gnostic gospels were never included in the canonized Bible because they didn't meet the strict standards applied when the books were reviewed.
How could Barnabas have written a gospel when he was dead?
