you know you have asked a v complicated question,
u may find everything in my answer, but first of all you have to free ur mind then open it, i mean neutralise it for a while,
can u explain extreme beauty? before u have seen it??? answer carefully answer is NO.
can u explain extreme beauty after u have seen it??? maybe no. but one thing is for sure that u know u have seen extreme beauty, even though it isnt explainable.
with all due respect, with all due care, and no offense meant,
its the same case with christianity, Bible isnt perfect, Bible isnt complete, neither r its interpretations. the whole story is
1. incomplete.
2. confusing.
3. a blend of truth and lies.
4. not satisfactory at all.
i am a Muslim. you can abuse me later for answering ur question. but for the time, listen carefully.
our book is holy Quran. it is
1. perfect, i mean perfect in all areas. ( this is not only what we think, but its the statement of christians, influential christians, as well )
2. i am very resposibly saying, that it has all the guidelines for each and every single human being on earth till the end of time.
3. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE LIE IN QURAN. not a single mistake. not a single confusion.
4. most importantly, GOD promised in the Holy Quran to protect it. now after 1450 years. not even, i repeat not even a SINGLE WORD is changed. to prove, if it had been changed, that would be mentioned some where in history, in one way or another. or the present Quran would have minor or atleast a single difference of a single word or even a single letter.
i told u its hard to believe. but we Muslims have seen the extreme beauty and ultimate perfection. which can not be explained. until one expereinces it.
NOW, for u to clear ur mind, without tarnishing ur own religious believes, just listen to
peace tv. a channel to help u get the answers u need. or listen to the debate between
DR. ZAKIR NAIK (muslims scholar) and DR. William campbell ( chrisitian missionary and MBBS
believe me, u wont repent....!!! (if u r a true seeker)
NOW, as a friendly advise, there is not a single christian who says that christianity is perfect. and most of u ppl say that buisness, recreation, job, family, friends are different from religion. christians do not advise to blend them.
contrarily in Islam, each and every thing is not only belnded very well, but
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO ANYTHING RELATED TO ANY FIELD OF LIFE WITHOUT CONSULTING OUR RELIGIOUS TEACHIGNS).
GOD has created this universe, and has carefully planned it from an electron or atom to a full human being, everything that GOD has created is immensly stunning, dont u think???
now, should i tell u a secret???
GOD created man, dont u think he is wise enough to send a "manual" for his creation as well.
just like man is v complicated in its making, in the same way its manual, its guidelines are also complicated. but the guidelines are not absent.
we just have to find them.

The Bible is like a beautiful puzzle, if you have all the right pieces. Satan, the father of the lie, has put in pieces that don’t belong in that beautiful picture, and because of this, the Bible is hard to understand. Example: The Bible portrays a beautiful picture of the resurrection hope. Satan, right from the beginning told Eve a lie that she will not die. That lie has made its way right down to our day, the immortal soul. If we have an immortal soul then we have no need of a resurrection. Now take that piece out and the picture comes clear. There are many more pieces that don’t belong in the Bible and till these pieces are taken out we cannot and will never understand the Bible.
If any part of the Bible cannot be interpret by another part of the bible then it may not be true.

You might want to look into a belief system called Deism. Deists believe that there is a God or possibly some sort of supreme being - however they don't believe that the Bible is the "word of God". In fact, they don't believe in any "revealed religion" -ie. any religious books supposedly written by (or "revealed" by) God.
Deism was especially popular during the Enlightenment (in the 17th and 18th centuries) with many notable early Americans ascribing to this belief system including Ethan Allen and Thomas Paine. There is also strong evidence that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were also Deists.

You can not find a regilion that is taylored to fit your beliefs. God has given me the grace and faith to believe the Christian bible. I may not always like what it says but I do know it is true...all of it. Therefore I choose to change and continue to change to be transormed to the image of Christ. After all I really do not want Him to be like me or any other person I have ever met. I would encourage you to try trusting Jesus and the bible. The cost can sometimes seem high but it is well worth it.

Christianity is founded on the Bible. From the front to the back. We believe that the Bible gives us every answer that we "need" to live life, and to serve and have a relationship with God. Some may say, man wrote the Bible and it has been altered through the years, I can't believe in something man wrote.
Ex: If a man that was paralyzed from the neck down wanted to write a book about his life, and had someone else to write the words down on paper as he spoke...Who is considered the author? the writer, or the one who told the writer what to write.
The same way with the Bible. God used certain men who had a relationship with Him, whom God himself revealed certain things to so that it could be written down. The words in the Bible gives Life, if you believe.

To be a Christian is to believe what the Bible says without exception. Jesus said that if we loved him we would keep his commandments, which consist of the entire Bible. To pick and choose what part of the Bible you believe in is to doubt that the Bible is inspired by God. To think that man has corrupted God's Word for man, is to doubt that God is greater and able to preserve his Word for man. Truth is absolute, and not relative to ones opinion. Once you accept it as truth, you then will understand that Christianity does not compremise with any other belief that is contrary to it. Jesus said that he is the way, no other way will get you or anyone else into Heaven.

You become a Christian when you know you are a sinner and believe that Jesus has shed His blood on the cross to obtain forgiveness for all your sins and give you eternal life. Then you have to confess and believe in your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. When you become a Christian the Holy Spirit who lives in you will give you spiritual understanding of the Bible and you will then know the truth and the truth will set you free from all the confusion that is besetting you now. Now choose life not death for Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Believing in the Bible is not necessary to be a Christian. In my opinion, christian means a good person. To be a good person, you need not follow any dogma or particular code. Your conscience will tell you whatever your do is good or bad, right or wrong. YOU are the best answer to a Christian. Please note the Bible was written some 2000 years back. All of it may not be of use today or be 100% correct in today's circumstances. Still it cannot be denied that the Holy Bible is holy because it contains certain universal truths. Please do not discuss or argue about the different things stated therein. Whatever your believe to be true adopt them and adapt your way of life. Then, you are a Christian in the true sense of the term.

Entire truth?
It is ENTIRELY TRUE but does not contain all thatr is true.
The Bible tells us ALL we need to know. It is sufficient.
This is a poor illustration, but try this...
a marxist follows the beliefs and teachings of Karl Marz, a Nazi will follow those of Hitler, a freudian psychiatrist, Freud.
A Christian follows the beliefs and teachings that are contained in the Bible, we follow Jesus Christ.
Beyond the Bible, we have NOTHING else on which to base our faith.
