Its something to do with the endamorphines you release when you are happy within a relationship - basically these things give you a "glow" that makes you more attractive and appealing to the opposite sex - dont ask how it works but I remember seeing a scientific programme about this which is how I know this answer!

Well speaking from a girls experience.... I often find that it depends on if I've just left a relationship and been hurt emotionally and need time to heal and be ready for another relationship. I find less guys are interested at that point, but as I become more emotionally stable more guys show interest. I think this is partly due to a sixth sense of seeing that someone isn't ready to be in a relationship that requires commitment and love so they avoid you. Also its dependent on how you present yourself, you may take more care of yourself when your in a relationship or emotionally stable and therefore people may look at you and see you as attractive. I think its mainly psychological. Anyone worth bothering with will only show interest if they think you are ready to be with them and give them the love and commitment they want and need!

It works the same for women. There's an "Ora", if you will, that lets the world know your happy. We, (the human race), are attracted to this Ora. Happy people draw us in, (why?), maybe so we can tap into the happy well, who knows. No one is drawn to miserable people, sad, depressed people send up red flags and we turn and run.
