What ever age that you find someone u want to date and wants to date you. These things are easy. I did not date till i was 17 but that was not coz i wanted to wait, it was because there was someone i wanted to date.

At my house, my children are not allowed to go on a single date until they are 16. Before that, they can go as a group, just no one-on-one.
This removes the pressure on my kids, and the other kids in the group, to pair off, make out, have sex, etc. They all stay together, and there is safety in numbers.
There is a reason most states make children wait to drive until they are sixteen....they have not yet developed the reasoning powers to make the decisions necessary for driving....how can we expect them to make the decisions necessary regarding dating, sex, birth control, etc?!

1. i dated at the age of 19, you should be atleast 16 to start dating

sixth grade is a little early... but you could probably have a boyfriend but not go out on any dates

Wait until High School, because Middle School drama is no good. I think that you will have allot more fun when you stary in High School. I know that it seems so long, but its not. you have more fun single!
