Courage is the will and the willingness to embrace and fully feel your fear as you take actions and risks in service to your highest commitments and deepest desires, courage includes full acknowledgment, experience, and illumination of our fear, while we are taking the appropriate actions. It also includes an acknowledgment and honoring of ourselves for choosing the courage -regardless of the outcome. courage is fear that has said its prayers.

Has it changed?
Were German and Jap soldiers courageous during WWII?
Our soldiers are fighting for a evil ignorant President and his silly illusions....but they are still courageous is suppose.
Did ya hear about the guy that got stung by one bee....so he attacked the whole nest. Now all his friends have been stung and the bees wonder why he attacked them.
Last time I saw him he was running down the road blaming bees, the bees are still mad and blaming him. Nobody knows what happened to the original bee...he died in the attack.
What was the date ..was it 9/11/01?

I think you have some very fine definitions of courage posted here already.
So please forgive me for going slightly off track.
Something i heard a long time ago and it in a way pertains to courage.
"A Hero is an ordinary person, who finds himself in a less than ordinary situation and acts in an extra ordinary manner."
It's something I always carry with me.

you can support osama bin laden for his deeds, attack USA OR defend afganistan.
you can stop weapon industries for selling the weapons and encouraging crime in the name of security.
you can do all the silly things in this world but follow your heart, i'm sure you have some plans that you think is not right, do it and satisfy yourself even if you have to fight the whole world. IT'S COURAGE, FOLLOW YOUR HEART TILL THE END.
