In other words they don't share a belief in these Gods with those who do believe in them, and if so what is you reason for not believing in them if like your own God their existence can neither be proved nor disproved?

Okay, I'll bite, you're correct, I don't believe that Zeus, Hera, or Shiva were or ever will be real gods.

And what's the difference between a Christian and a "Christian Theist?"

Boring. Atheism is the belief in NO God. Christians believe in a God, therefore the term Atheist cannot apply to them. Oh, did I not say "weak" too?

Asking this question is like asking a physics student why they reject classical atomic theory and "believe" in quantum mechanics?

Or like asking why people don't "believe" that the moon floats just above the treetops, just out of our reach.

Lots of beliefs get rejected, set aside, or supplanted by other beliefs.

So what?
