INo wait for them
f by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them
If you call the IRS right now they will tell you to call back on the 15th

You need all of your W2s to file a return. It doesn't matter how long you worked there. It's already been reported to the IRS and if your return doesn't match their records you'll have problems on your hands.

While it is possible to e-file a return using your last pay stub you should still wait. If there's a difference between the pay stub and the W2 you'd have to file an amended return to correct it. That's not worth the hassle.

You need to wait for the third one.

The same thing happened to me, and I did my taxes in turbo tax, and let it sit until the third one came. I added the third one, which was only for 3 weeks of work, and it changed my refund by $100. I never even thought it would make a difference.

The good thing is that W2s have to be mailed by 1/31, so you should have it soon. If you don't have it by mid-February, you should call that employer and ask about it.
