Hi Kyojo. Ignore the answers with the bad attitudes. A Naturopathic Physician needs four years of college with appropriate classes in physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, etc. - essentially the same as for any medical professional.

Naturopathic Medical School is similar to any other professional training, except the focus is on the cause and natural treatment of diseases rather than on symptom management with drugs and surgery. Consequently, this training is very biochemistry/nutrition intensive (unlike medical school).

There are several fully accredited Naturopathic colleges. Avoid non-accredited schools.

Best wishes and good luck.

It is very sad how people can be narrow minded.
Go to www.aanmc.org - The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges.
There you can find a lot of info.
Good luck.
