easy on the jogging for a while? Other than swimming

Strenght Trainingg (rowing machine) will help a lot with your stamia to jog, swim and run. It prepares you by building up those sleepy muscles and you will notice afterwards that the soreness is much less or completely GONE!

Bag the jogging and go with low or now impact exercises. Consider rowing, elliptical trainers, and aquatic aerobics.

try new shoes, the ones you have may be causing the pain. try also running on a track (indoor or outdoor) or bundling up and running outside. i have great shoes, but running on a treadmill makes my back hurt.

or you could try the elliptical which is very low impact on the knees. or swimming
